Hi! I'm a new editor interested in expanding topics about NYC. Feel free to talk to me via my talkpage if you have any questions or comments about my edits or contributions!

I may be working on some sensitive articles, in doing so I will cite my sources, and am willing to discuss any changes. Don't be afraid to reach out to talk about them :)

The nahuatl language word for crocodile is Tecuixin (sometimes spelled Teguixin). This word has been echoed through the names of Tegu lizards (resembling but unrelated to Monitor lizards), including Tupinambis teguixin.
