The information provided for the diagram of the Walker Circulation says that, during a la nina event, the sea level on the eastern side of the Pacific can be 60 cm higher. I would imagine that this is supposed to say that the western side of the Pacific can be 60 cm higher. Just checking.

Is this needed?[edit]
Is all of the section called "Mathematical basis" needed here. It is mainly duplicated by Autoregressive model and appears to make no substantial contribution to describing Walker circulation itself or to how it was discovered/formulated. Melcombe (talk) 14:38, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
