Tim Leary (baseball) → Tim Leary – Currently, Tim Leary is just a redirect to the article on Timothy Leary the '60s counterculture figure/LSD advocate. While that Leary is more well known, he generally isn't known as "Tim". (Google Books ngram.) Additionally, people linking to Timothy Leary on Wikipedia do so overwhelmingly under the name "Timothy". 555 pages in article space link to Timothy Leary. After I fixed the links that intended to refer to the baseball player, Tim Leary is linked to by just 4 pages in article space, one of which is Timothy Leary itself. Support I've never heard of the psychedelic pioneer referred to as "Tim", and see no reason for the "Tim Leary" qualifier, as long as a hat note at the top of this page directs readers to Timothy Leary's page. – Muboshgu (talk) 16:09, 2 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Support Seems very reasonable to me, and I concur with Muboshgu above.Neonblaktalk - 16:42, 4 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
