St. Petersburg[edit]

the wikipedia article about St. Petersburg, Russia says that the name of the city "Sankt Petersburg" was given because the Russian Zar liked the Dutch. But "Sankt Petersburg" is not Dutch, which would be "Sankt-Pieterburch", it is German. The article also says that "Sankt Petersburg" sounds like German. It IS German, it not only sounds German. The city was constructed to a great degree by Germans and the Zar had a liking of German culture.
