Confusion with William Darwin Fox[edit]

I'm still not 100% sure that we are dealing with two people here and not one. I have created this article as it seems probable that there were two synonymic contemporaries, but if anyone can shed some light one way or the other I'd be relieved. I suggest for simplicity that any discussion takes place on the William Darwin Fox talk page where there is already some material. Naturenet | Talk 14:18, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This site seems to contradict the notion that there were two separate W.D. Foxes: http://www.experiencefestival.com/a/William_Darwin_Fox_-_Biography/id/5588075 The definite answer might be given by Larkum's A Natural Calling.

Eucamerotus foxi[edit]

Eucamerotus only received its specific name in 1995, when William Blows named Eucamerotus foxi. Thus there was never a phase with a Latinised "Eucamerotus foxii".--MWAK (talk) 04:53, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
