Surnames[edit]

In places where there should certainly be surnames (usually emma and alyssa's) there are not. This should be fixed as it is confusing. I would do so myself but im busy . — Preceding unsigned comment added by Applejuiceandpeachh (talkcontribs) 07:16, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Movie Cast[edit]

Unconfirmed editors keep adding “Ariana Grande” as a listed cast member, despite repeated rollbacks of that edit and despite confirmed sources stating she will not be in it. Is there anything we can do to get this to stop?Apathyash (talk) 18:22, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Out of desperation, I added a directive--hidden--not to add Grande. I don't know what else to do.Flami72 (talk) 19:03, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Another thing we could do is to delete the entire cast list for the film; it is premature anyway.Flami72 (talk) 19:24, 2 August 2019 (UTC) To add, for the record and if any editor would like to refer to this talk page: here is the link to the deadline.com article from June 25, 2019 that states: "UPDATE: This story originally said Ariana Grande was in the cast, but we've learned that it conflicts with her tour schedule and she won't be involved.". "Ryan Murphy Casts Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman & More in Netflix's 'The Prom' Adaptation" Flami72 (talk) 20:57, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Role of Alyssa announced today, issue resolved. I updated where called for and added reference. Flami72 (talk) 19:44, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Cast Lists (characters included)[edit]

In the show's Playbill, all the characters listed currently are credited individually. However, everyone below Sheldon Saperstein appears in the ensemble with a feature as the character listed (on the show's website, they are all credited as only "Ensemble" and not their individual featured characters). Should the cast section only include what the production considers principals, or all the named characters as seen in the Playbills? Computergeek0101 (talk) 21:51, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:MT/AS#Productions: "Only the actors playing principal (significant speaking and singing) roles should be mentioned." BOVINEBOY2008 14:54, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
