Chronological impossible in real life[edit]

At the second episode it is stated that the young woman escaped during the Battle of Kamdesh. This battle took place in 2009. In a scene in the episode an army officer stated that the soldier was missing for 9 months, then was rescued and that he accepted veteran benefits in 2006, 2007 and 2008. So he was back in the USA long before the linked battle even took place!

A (related) source only links him to Kamdesh District.
