A few questions about this list: most importantly, where did the information come from? The list doesn't seem to correspond much with what's at the Gazetteer of Planetary Nomenclature, and the intro says it's about pre-Mariner telescopically observed features - why list these when observations have superceded them? Shouldn't we make this list cover the present day catalogued albedo featured? Where did the pronunciations come from? Are they International Phonetic Alphabet or some other system? Any answers would be very helpful! Worldtraveller 23:53, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I echo these requests for information, though I don't think there's anything wrong with including superceded information for historical reasons. Bryan 02:09, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The (only) source is mentioned: a map of Mercury made from observations by Antoniadi. RandomCritic 04:56, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
