Name[edit]

In English wikipedia the name is Jaguar 2 but in German wikipedia it is Jaguar 1. Which one is correct? --Kyng (talk) 10:33, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

62.225.62.67 (talk) 16:53, 15 October 2013 (UTC) Jaguar-2 since Jaguar-1 is the former Raketenjagdpanzer (SS-11) re-armed to HOT. They use the same basic chassis (the Jaguars with some applique armor)[reply]

chassis[edit]

that´s not a marder chassis but of the Hispano-Suiza HS-30. believe me, i worked with both the marder and the jaguar. 212.23.103.111 (talk) 10:41, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

62.225.62.67 (talk) 16:51, 15 October 2013 (UTC) Actually it is based on the late second series of Marder prototypes (that still resembled the Heuler) but it is NOT a HS30. Due to the lengthy development of the Bagger the decision was made to use split of the KaJaPa and RaJaPa (Later Jaguar-1) development since for those the 2nd gen platform was already "good enough"[reply]
