Gigan's name[edit]

Out of sheer curiosity, I looked up "gigan" as a Japanese word and it apparently means "artificial eye." (Here's the kanji: 義眼) Considering Gigan has a single, robot-like 'visor', I doubt this is merely coincidence. Japanese article and Gigan creator[edit]

Could someone fluent in Japanese have a quick look at the Japanese version of this article? The google translation is atrocious, but it seems to imply that Gigan's creator was Shigeru Mizuki. Mariomassone (talk) 10:17, 16 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Pacific Rim Uprising[edit]

I don't see why someone thought they could state Gigan was in this movie when it's only a kaiju that has a skull similar to his. I deleted the edit, so go ahead and tell me why it should be there.
