WikiProject Comics B-Class Assesment required[edit]

Intro[edit]

My good colleague Stoshmaster is correct in that we don't need birth and death places in the lead, according to Wikipedia:Manual of Style (biographies), unless those locales are particularly notable with that specific individual.

Wikipedia:Manual of Style (biographies) does seems to indicate that we should give the full dates in the lead, though, saying that "exact birth and death dates are certainly important to the person being described, but if they are also mentioned in ... infobox, the vital year range can be sufficient to provide context in some cases." The phrase "in some cases" suggests to me that full dates, then, are used in most cases. --Tenebrae (talk) 03:10, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
