Autobiographical[edit]

The article says:

Jan Guillou has stated that Ondskan is basically a true story. "Some things, like the identity of the love interest, the placing of the swimming pool and such were changed to make the story better. But the stuff you're wondering about - the violence, the crap, the psychological terror - is absolutely true."

Dan Brown also claimed that the essential things in The Da Vinci Code were all true. The book is a novel, a good one, and as all good novels true in some sense, but it is probably a major mistake to think it is an actual story straight out of the life of the author. The extent of which the author was beaten by his stepfather is therefore irrelevant to the novel, and there is no need to discuss such matters in this article. --81.229.102.134 (talk) 13:43, 9 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
