There are plenty of references available and I'm adding enough to provide scholarly references. The gallery photos don't show any detail, so for the time being I've got them in a column: too long for the text at present. There needs to be something brief about their being a British Empire and Ulster firm, not an Irish nationalist one. The photo of Kitchener of Khartoum is inauthentic and has been removed.
