Auden template?[edit]

Chester Kallman must be one of very few writers who have an author template from their collaborator "(and sometime lover)". The Auden template looks out of place here, since Kallman did not have a hand in his English work, the body of which many (including myself) think frequently more interesting than his American work. According to the Wikipedia W. H. Auden entry, Kallman and Auden met around 1939, when Auden was in process moving to the USA. Let's have a Kallman template instead! if anyone wants to bother.

But perhaps this is Wikipedia custom, since I see an Allen Ginsberg author template at Peter Orlovsky's Wikipedia entry; although not one for Gertrude Stein at the Alice B. Toklas entry, or D. H. Lawrence at the Frieda Lawrence entry, Virginia Woolf at the Leonard Woolf entry, James Joyce at the Nora Joyce entry, etc. Maybe the lover's author template custom works for gay men. Kallman would perhaps be WP-important without Auden, but he is well known as Auden's lover, not as a writer. The younger Auden may be superior to the older, but his work was not completely worthless after leaving Britain and also his (disgusting to some) fellow traveling.--Ralfdetlef (talk) 02:27, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
