The lighthouse D-Day reference sentence is not sourced, is misleading, needs further details. Rannpháirtí anaithnid - I noticed you put my images into "frames" which allow the captions to be seen at the bottom. Personally, I don't like these and I much prefer them unframed with the caption appearing when the mouse is passed over the picture which is how I put them on. I don't want an argument or anything but in my opinion I'd prefer they were left the way I put them on originally. I've learnt now not to put them on too big, but white frames!!??!!.........? - I don't really mind how the images are displayed so long as it conforms to the Manual of Style. The bad news is that captions are a must. All images, with rare exceptions, must have captions.
- Typically also images are displayed in-line with text. Articles that consist mainly of images should be avoided. The <gallery> tag is intended to gather up loose images that are still appropriate to illustrate the subject. See here. --RA (talk) 12:01, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
