Death Note on Bionix[edit]

OK folks, just to clarify: DEATH NOTE HAS NOT BEEN CANCELED. Its premiere date cannot be confirmed at this time. YTV has not stated the reasons, but the odds are seriously against Death Note not airing at all. It should be marked as TBA. Jbetteridge 08:10, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Princess Mononoke[edit]

Princess Mononoke played at around 8:00 and Midnight within the last two months but isn't on the list of movies in Bionix. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.159.0.70 (talk) 23:04, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I saw that someone added it at some point, although this was for October 26, 2007, the day before you posted, so this leads me to wonder if it was ran more than once for you to say "last 2 months". Ranze (talk) 04:16, 7 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 3 February 2022[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: moved to Bionix (TV programming block). Clear consensus to move but no consensus on the target name. Per WP:OTHEROPTIONS, another move request can be started at any time. (closed by non-admin page mover) Vpab15 (talk) 18:06, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

– Not the primary topic. Bionix AFV receives over four times as many views as the TV programming block. Schierbecker (talk) 02:51, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Bionix AFV could actually be considered the primary topic. I would support moving Bionix AFV → Bionix. Schierbecker (talk) 03:14, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment WP:NCTV says that (television) should not be used for programming. I'm not sure what the usual convention is though? It seems (TV programming block) is most common (as in Crunch (TV programming block)), although The Zone (YTV) doesn't use this format. 162 etc. (talk) 03:51, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thanks for pointing out the guideline. I wonder why they decided on that. Schierbecker (talk) 08:30, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom. Crouch, Swale (talk) 08:03, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support Some kind of move, although not to the disambiguation nom proposes. There is WP:NOPRIMARY for Bionix. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 14:19, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support as proposed. There is no suggestion that the article currently at the base name should be there. Or I would suggest and be happy with Bionix (YTV) as a better disambiguation than (television), consistent to the existing titling of the article The Zone (YTV) which describes another YTV programming block, and with the guideline... Any comment on that, Zxcvbnm, Schierbecker or 162 etc.? Andrewa (talk) 03:34, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Move to Bionix (TV programming block). 162 etc. (talk) 03:39, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
What's the advantage of that over Bionix (YTV)? And if there is one, should we also move The Zone (YTV)? Andrewa (talk) 15:41, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Looking around Category:Television programming blocks, that seems to be the most common tag. As for The Zone (YTV), it was moved back in 2011 [1] - perhaps it could be revisited. 162 etc. (talk) 00:32, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That might be worth doing. I had no idea what a television programming block or TV programming block (note both are redlinks) was prior to this discussion and I still regard it as a rather esoteric term. So the station or network name (YTV in this case of course, top entry in the DAB) may be a more recognisable disambiguator. But TV programming block does seem a very common disambiguator. Television programming block perhaps less so. Interesting. Andrewa (talk) 16:09, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
