Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because I believe this page is a valid addition on the screenwriting subject. After all, we have pages to other porminent teachers such as Michael Hauge, Robert McKee and Blake Snyder, after all. Epstein's body of work, as teacher and screenwriter (even creator of a listed show such as Naked Josh) justify its existence.

The current version is ok from a copyright point of view. I am leaving the A7 for others to assess. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 01:08, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Diannaa: and @SavageEditor: I have restored the A7 speedy delete tag as it was removed by the article creator. Dom from Paris (talk) 12:53, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... as stated, Epstein is a recognized industry figure with a verifiable body work that has been recognized as notable and worthy of documenting by Wikipedia beforehand. Other writer-teachers have been allowed articles here before, such Snyder, McKee and Field, so I fail to see why this piece should be deleted. Indeed, it has already been contested and approved, so this feels wholly redundant.--SavageEditor (talk) 13:21, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What do you mean by "contested and approved"? Dom from Paris (talk) 13:41, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict)You should not have removed the speedy deletion tag. Let an administrator assess — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:43, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that was not a good decision. Nonetheless, no admin was brought in to review the page, nor did there seem to be any effort to arrange such, hence the confusion. However, an error in communication is not a valid argument for a page's deletion, nor does this point invalidate the page's own merits, irrespective of this.SavageEditor (talk) 15:26, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Pages aren't deleted because of an error in communication but because they meet the ceotecrifor WP:DELETION. Dom from Paris (talk) 21:48, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
