Black coloured regions[edit]

I noticed that the following countries or dependencies are in black colour:

North Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Malta, Cape Verde, Equatorial Guinea, Sao Tome and Principe, Greenland, the Bahamas, several small island countries or dependencies in the Caribbean, French Guiana, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, and several small island countries or dependencies on the Pacific Ocean.

I do not understand why those regions are black coloured because other than North Korea, which officially bans any kind of religion, all the other countries or dependencies can be classified as either Abrahamic or Eastern in regard to their dominant religions.
